Why does it want me to enter information when I synchronize?

Problem

This occurs when your "Time License" file is not installed on your PDA.


Solution
Enter the requested information when prompted during synchronization. This should download your Time License file and install it on your PDA. If this issue continues to occur after entering the requested information, please reinstall the program.


    To remove Tarascon from your desktop computer:
  1. Open your Control Panel (Found in the Start Menu, or under Settings in the Start Menu).
  2. Open the Add/Remove Programs tool.
  3. Scroll down to find the Tarascon application and select it.
  4. Click Remove to uninstall Tarascon.


    To uninstall from your Pocket PC device:
  1. Tap the 'Start Menu' on your device.
  2. Open the 'Settings' Folder.
  3. Tap the 'System' tab and then tap the 'Remove Programs' icon.
  4. Tap on the Tarascon program. Tap 'Remove'.


    To remove the Tarascon application from your Palm device:
  1. From the Home screen of your Palm, tap the Menu Icon, which is usually located below the Home Icon. You can also access the menu by tapping the upper left corner of the screen (clock).
  2. From the menu that appears, select Delete.
  3. On the screen that appears, select Tarascon, and tap Delete.


    You can download and install Tarascon by logging into your account.
  1. In your account you will see a link that says "Windows Installer".
  2. (Note: This image is not an actual link, and is only being used for illustration purposes.)

  3. Click on the applicable link and choose Save from the box that appears
  4. Save the file to your deskop so it is easy to find.
  5. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet before beginning and maintain that connection throughout installation.
  6. Once the file is downloaded, locate it on your desktop and double-click on it to begin installation.

  7. When prompted, enter in your product key (Palm and Pocket PC) and serial number (for Pocket PC users only ).

  8. Follow the prompts to complete installation and Sync your device to transfer Tarascon over to your PDA.


If you are still being prompted for registration information repeatedly please contact Technical Support for assistance. Please mention that you have already taken the above steps to remedy the problem.
